This week has flown by, and I can’t believe it’s already Friday! We have a lot planned this weekend, including another zoo trip tomorrow, so it definitely won’t be boring. 🙂

These dairy-free ice cream bars

Dairy is one of the things that tends to set my stomach off except in really tiny quantities, so these have really been a lifesaver. I don’t crave ice cream very often, but it’s nice to know that when I do, I have an option that’s lower sugar and won’t make me miserable ten minutes after I eat it!

These nail wraps!

I haven’t decided how I feel about nail wraps in general, mostly because I REALLY REALLY stink at putting them on. Even with the bubbles that I can’t seem to get out, looking at little ballerinas on my nails makes me really happy! Is it obvious that I still miss dancing? 😛

My new textbooks!!

I finally got all my NASM textbooks in the mail! Now I’m super excited to get my butt studying so I can pass the tests and get certified ASAP. These are the CPT and group fitness instructor books, by nutrition textbooks are all online — so I have a LOT of reading to do!

Toddler snuggles

The boys were a real handful today. I’m not sure what was in the air, but they were just super disobedient, and I felt like today was just one big timeout. They were even worse for Danny when I left for my girl’s night, so it was extra sweet when I came home and Jonah promptly passed out in my lap. I know this won’t happen forever, so I really try to soak it up when it does!

SUSHI!!!!! And girl’s night out.

I’m part of a mom’s group on Facebook and we decided to have a girl’s night tonight. I hadn’t met most of them before so I was a little nervous, but it was so much fun! The company was great, and the sushi was sooo yummy! Sushi is pretty much my favorite food but it’s expensive enough that I just don’t have it much, which just made it taste that much better tonight! I was so excited I forgot to take a picture of mine, so I borrowed a picture of someone else’s sushi. 😛

This book

When we first met, my husband introduced me to the book Relic, which was the first in a very long list of books by these two authors. Six years later and I’m still waiting on the edge of my seat for the latest installment in the tale of Agent Pendergast, and so far the latest book has been everything I hoped for. Agent Pendergast is a rather discriminating FBI agent that rarely gets involved in any ordinary investigations, and the plot has been as creepy as it is interesting. I’m about halfway through right now, so I’ll let you know what I think of the ending!
