This is my first weigh-in in a really long time, and I have to admit I was kind of nervous about it. My eating hasn’t been perfect but it’s been a HUGE improvement, and my cheats have been smaller and far less frequent, especially in the last week. I was hoping to have an accurate “before” weigh-in, but the last one I can find is from 14 weeks postpartum (and I actually weighed 3 pounds less then! embarrassing…). I’ll use that one for comparison since I don’t have another one to use — it’s a little discouraging to see a weight gain when I’ve actually lost weight the last two weeks, but I’m trying to remember that 4 months ago I weighed 189 so this is actually a big improvement. I’m happy that even at 3 pounds heavier all my measurements are smaller though!

I still have a long way to go to reach my goals, but I’m happy to be finished with excuses and taking responsibility for what I want. It’s going to be a fun ride!
And now I’m going to cut this short and try to workout and take a shower before the boys get up. I can already hear them stirring (an hour or two earlier than usual) so I need to get a move on!
